History

We are the first department in Taiwan dedicated to logistics and supply chain management. The department was established in the year 1996 in response to the globalization of businesses and the planning of Asia-Pacific operational centers, our department initially admitted students for a two-year college program, making us the pioneering institution in the field of logistics-related disciplines in Taiwan. In 1998, we started the Master's program, followed by the Executive Master's program in 1999, and the Doctoral program in 2001. In 2002, we expanded our undergraduate program to include students from the four-year technical college level. Over the years, we have developed into a comprehensive talent cultivation system for logistics and supply chain management.

Our department's primary focus is on Logistics Digitalization, actively participating in international academic exchanges and industry-academic cooperation. We aim to nurture talents aligned with industry demands, establishing ourselves as a leading academic institution in logistics and supply chain education, research, and industry collaboration.
